As a newcomer to Seattle, I was very nervous about purchasing a home, especially since I was not familiar with neighborhoods in the Seattle area.  I was also a first time buyer and knew very little about the process.  That said, I also had a new, very time demanding job. 

Mark states every phone conversation with the phrase, "is this a good time or a bad time", and it was absolutely my favorite thing to hear.  It made me feel like a human being.  I knew Mark understood that while purchasing my home was a big deal, I was not always capable of dropping everything to talk about it.  Mark was my partner.  He listened to my concerns, taught me about Seattle, and was always there when I had a question.  I can't say enough wonderful things about Mark Linvill as a person and as a professional.  I love my new home and I have absolutely Mark to thank.

I would like to take an opportunity to let you know how extremely pleased I am with the service of one of your employees, Mark Linvill, has provided me these past two months.

I relocated to Seattle with Amazon.com.  We first met Mark in March-he was referred to me by Cendant Mobility.  Over the course of the past two months, Mark made the house hunting experience very enjoyable.  I am happy to report that I closed escrow yesterday and will be moving into our new home next week.

Let me elaborate a bit more whay I think the world of Mark:

Patience-quite frankly, both my partner and I are quite high maintenance.  We thought we know for sure what we wanted-then when we started looking at houses, we became more specific and more realistec as to what we really liked and not liked.  Mark has always been patient with us- he took his time to answer all our questions- and our repetition could be very annoying at times.  Mark is charming, has a great attitude and never once showed any distress.

Honesty- Mark was very upfront and frank with me as to what his recommendations were, what I should consider, what I should not take too seriously and what I should really look out for.  I felt very confident with all the decisions I made along the way.

Sense of urgency and follow through- Mark's sense of urgency deserved an Academy Award and his follow through was nothing short of incredible.  If he said he would get back to me, he did so, and in most cases within minutes.  I got more follow up phone calls from Mark than even my subordinates in the office, who actually work for me.  I never once had to ask the same question twice.

His attitude- I have come across agents who acted like "they are doing me a favor" or they "talk down" to customers.  Mark has a superb attitude.  He never once talked down to me.  When I thanked him on things, his response was always, "this is my job".  How refreshing! 

Mark has integrity, he is easy to work with, he is honest, he hustles for the customers, and above all, he is very trust-worthy and I deem this quality the most important element of the deal.  He ranks very high on my list and I for sure will recommend him to everyone I know who needs an agent.

I am a newby to Seattle.  When my partner and I started exploring the city for a new place to live we relied on Mark to show us around.  The first thing to impress me was Mark's knowledge of the city, the neighborhoods, and even the social environment surrounding each home we looked at.

Mark knew the things that were most important to us and let us look at homes that he knew would not fit the bill, spending his valuable time indulging our desire for a cool home in the right location.

Mark is the agent I think of when I see those commercials on TV, people fantasizing about an agent who cares.  I know he doesnt need it, but I want to wish Mark all the success he deserves for all his hard work and commitment to exemplary caring service.
